Clive's Background

Clive is a former CEO of three housing associations, and has over 40 years’ experience of working within housing, environment, water and local government sectors. Since 2011 he has worked as a housing consultant delivering multi-layered/high profile change projects and transformational programmes. This has included organisational review, staff restructuring, policy development and review, business planning and governance training.

He is deeply passionate about community development services and has substantial experience of co-designing and co-delivering successful programmes. His background in housing services, community involvement, consultancy, leadership and governance provides him with a unique perspective on how to maximise impact through different models and partnerships.

Clive’s approach is characterised by flexibility and collaboration, enabling him to work with stakeholders and partners to achieve meaningful change. His work in undertaking service reviews has often involved supporting the organisations with projects to implement agreed changes.

In the past he has worked with people who have experienced or been affected by homelessness, overcrowding, social exclusion and racial harassment.
