On 26 March 2022 Mind in Haringey held their Black Thrive Haringey (BTH) launch event. Catalyst directors attended this event in solidarity and support to our Thriving Futures partners.

BTH invited the community of Haringey to come and hear about this amazing new initiative that is focused on addressing the systematic issues that affect Black people and those who connect with the 'Black Experience'.

The event was subsequently attended by individuals, organisations, entrepreneurs, practitioners, allies and the community of Haringey that are committed and engaged in services that help Black communities to move from striving to thriving.

Attendees were treated to cultural entertainment, heard engaging presentations, special guest speakers, and participated in interactive discussions. They also enjoyed the African Market hall of vendors sampling holistic therapies provided by local black practitioners, and took part in group workshops or 'paused for the cause' in the sacred healing space!
