Covid-19: How to deal with lockdown social anxiety

When the roadmap for lifting lockdown restrictions was set out a couple of weeks ago a lot of people felt like they had a summer to look forward to.

Even 21 June, the day when nightclubs could be allowed to open again in England, started trending on Twitter and memes popped up everywhere.


Group chats were flooded with plans for well-overdue nights out and links to events that were somehow on their final release of tickets despite going on sale that day. Smaller gatherings will be allowed outside from 29 March in England.


And while for many people it's been a really exciting time, for those with social anxiety there's a worry about how they'll adapt to life after lockdown.
