Catalyst 4 Change has worked closely with Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Trust to organise this important event aimed primarily at Trust staff, voluntary & community sector practitioners and carers.

The seminar aims to:

  • Increase knowledge and understanding of Caribbean communities history and culture in the West Midlands
  • Understand how mental health is conceptualised by Caribbean communities
  • Increase understanding of culturally sensitive approaches and services to improve mental health and well-being of Caribbean Communities
  • Encourage networking opportunities between statutory staff and organisations / communities
