Linda holds responsibility to encourage information sharing and collaboration between all of Catalyst’s development, research, engagement and capacity building programmes.
This includes the engagement of Catalyst’s members, Black communities, voluntary and statutory organisations and others; to drive development of community-based services.

Linda's Background
Qualified to Postgraduate level in Health Development, Linda has over 20 years' experience in Health, Social Care and Voluntary sector roles delivering health promotion, training and community engagement projects.
Her early career involved working at the Young People’s Health Project delivering health promotion interventions to young people in schools and youth clubs and outreach in East Birmingham.
Linda has significant experience working in sexual health and HIV services within the NHS, Birmingham City Council and the Terrence Higgins Trust. Within these roles she has delivered sexual health promotion in schools and colleges and community, provided training, supported professional development for staff, commissioned arts-based projects for Looked after Children, and provided bespoke training for foster carers and unaccompanied minors. Linda has engaged in various community events such as wellbeing days to deliver health promotion around sexual and mental health and wellbeing. She has also supported African and Caribbean communities affected by HIV in Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
She has also delivered one-to one interventions with individuals and groups in disadvantaged communities to identify health needs and support behaviour change.
Linda currently facilitates Moving Forward Courses run by Breast Cancer Now. The course brings together individuals post cancer treatment and offers emotional support, provides information and facilitates ideas and actions to empower participants to move forward in their cancer journey.
