After a five year gap the Mentoring & Advocacy Support Hub (MASH) is looking like it has a brighter future.

Following the end of Phase 2 of the 300 Voices Project, The Peer Support Programme (known as MASH) secured funding from the Police and Crime Commissioner's Office for a further year to March 2017 - at this point the service was sadly closed.

With the support of its parent body, Catalyst 4 Change, MASH is set to see new services and activities beginning to emerge.

The initial restructured services will look like this;

Leadership Development

A new development support programme that builds the abilities and confidence to develop and effectively manage user-led community organisations, has already been funded and Catalyst are seeking to appoint a programme co-ordinator.

Easy Access Initiative

Over coming months we are developing a collaborative initiative to provide easy access and referral to a range of culturally appropriate local services for people of African-Caribbean heritage with a lived experience of mental health.

Social Activities and Events

We are planning and fundraising to bring our popular social drop-in sessions back. The sessions will be a place to relax, build friendships, learn new skills, get advice and provide a space for sharing and support.

Stay tuned for updates on future progress!
