Catalyst's Support-Connect Database was first developed as part of our freephone helpline service that was run for a year at the height of the Covid lockdown. The service was available to African and Caribbean people with mental health support needs across the West Midlands area.

We have retained the services & information database. Anyone can visit, register and engage on this portal.

All that's needed if you choose to register is your name and email, nothing more!

Anyone can suggest appropriate entries to the database. Suggested services must be West Midlands based or be accessible to people in the region. Suggested entries need to be relevant to mental health and wellbeing.

What's in the database?

Currently there is limited resources in the database but over time (and with your help) we can grow the data, ensuring that the content is reflective of the organisations and service users that they support throughout the West Midlands region.

With thanks to First Stop Design for continued development and support.

The current categories include:

  • Covid-19 directories
  • Health & wellbeing directories
  • Government, Statutory & other advice
  • Counselling services
  • Mental health organisation's
  • Wellbeing organisation's
  • Local & Regional Helplines
  • National Support, Advice & Helplines
